After a period of hard work by our sister-charity, Um Pequeno Gesto, side by side with our Local Partner and Technicians, Alfa and her family of 8 people now have a safe home to live in Manjangue!
Alfa, who is only 12 years old and has HIV, will now sleep more comfortably, will be able to study much better, will benefit from improved hygienic and sanitary conditions and will have access to a healthier environment appropriate to her growth.
The housing programme is part of our sister-charity, Um Pequeno Gesto, intervention in Poverty Alleviation & Infrastructures and it has as main goal to provide housing for children and families in situations of vulnerability and in very precarious conditions.
