We recall one of the most remarkable news stories of 2025, which filled us with hope and reinforced what we have always believed: when a door opens, a future opens.
It was at the beginning of this year that we announced the seven new scholarship recipients of the ALG University Scholarship Program. Seven young people, seven different stories, but one common destiny: education as a force for transformation.
Five of these young people enrolled in public universities—an achievement that represents not only individual merit but also a strategy for collective impact. By supporting students in public institutions, we are able to maximize resources, expand opportunities, and involve communities in the process of change.
Each candidate who came to us brought more than just grades and documents. They brought determination and the conviction that talent can flourish, even where opportunities are scarce.
They are future doctors, engineers, lawyers. They are young people who already carry within them the desire to be more, to do more, to give back to the world what they have received: hope.
Today, we remember this moment because we realize that our commitment goes far beyond awarding scholarships. What we do is open paths, build bridges, and accompany steps.
We believe in each young person, even before the world sees them. Because when someone believes in a young person, they begin to believe in themselves—and that’s what changes everything.
