Sports Day is always a much-anticipated moment by everyone. It is a magical gathering between two of our schools – Sta. Luisa de Marillac and S. Vicente de Paulo! This amazing event is already a biannual tradition gathering children from the two schools in an energetic competition, covering a range of sport disciplines (such as soccer, sack race, running, volleyball) and artistic ones as well (poetry, writing, national traditional dances, and ntxuva (chess). This day is much more than a competition, it is a moment to reveal talents, of sharing and union between the children and technicians from the two schools.
Sports Day is a unique gathering where children compete not only in traditional sports disciplines like soccer and volleyball, but also through arts like poetry, writing, national traditional dances, and the traditional ntxuva game (chess).
From the thrilling sack race to the free run, each moment celebrates our children’s sporting spirit and energy. The diversity of activities promotes not only competition, but also cooperation and mutual respect.
This is more than a competition, it is an opportunity to exchange talent, of sharing and unity. Children reveal their individual skills, but they also learn to value their colleagues’ achievements. Sports Day is more than an event; it helps to build strong and resilient communities
