An inspiring journey: Jorge’s story represents transformation driven by A Little Gesture’s continuous support and education. In 2007, the UPG Portugal Sponsoring Program joined forces with Growing up with ALG.
In 2018, through the Technical Courses program, sponsored by ALG, Jorge attended the electrician course revealing dedication and skills. Later, in 2020, he continued to follow his dream and studying. He became one of our Uni scholarship holders attending the Clinical Analysis Course.
But Jorge didn’t stick to this. 2023 marked a new chapter in his life. These days he’s not only “just” a Uni Scholarship Holder, he’s also a Local Technician in the UPG Portugal Sponsoring program. Jorge is returning to the school where he began his studies, sharing his experience and inspiring future generations.
Jorge is a perfect example of the lasting impact that educational support can have on a child’s or youngsters’ life.
