Day 14: A day of joy and music!
The Santa Luisa de Marilac School enthusiastically welcomed employees from Moza Banco, sponsors of the Study Support Room, for a Solidarity Christmas Lunch that became a landmark of joy and unity.
The event, organised in collaboration withA Little Gesture, brought together sponsored children, the “Daughters of Charity”, technicians and the ALG coordination team. The warm welcome to the sound of the traditional Xigubo dance brought energy and emotion, marking the start of a special day.
During the ceremony, the Moza Banco representative expressed his gratitude for the reception and emphasised the institution’s commitment to the children’s well-being. School kits, clothes and other donations were handed over by Stewart Sukuma, Moza Banco’s ambassador, in a moment of great emotion, accompanied by words of thanks from young Ercília Ndove.
The inspiring song ‘A Little Gesture, Help Your Brother’, composed by Sukuma, moved everyone, uniting those present in perfect harmony!
The visit included an exhibition of paintings by former son-in-law Arone, as well as special moments in the canteen and the Study Support Room. The delivery of dishes by the Moza Banco team stood out for its warm interaction with the children, reinforcing the bonds of solidarity and affection.
The Solidarity Lunch was not just a meal, but a celebration of the impact of collective actions and the power of partnerships to transform lives. More than feeding bodies, this day fed hearts, leaving a mark of gratitude and hope for the future of the children of Santa Luisa de Marilac.
