At the HIV Day Center in Santa Luísa de Marillac, the needles never stop working. Throughout the year, our children have been exploring the world of sewing, transforming fabrics into colorful, creative, and useful items—from bags and key chains to little surprises.
More than just learning to sew, this space is a place of discovery and confidence. Every stitch and every well-made fold is also a lesson in patience, dedication, and self-esteem. As they see their own work take shape, the children discover that they are capable of creating, transforming, and contributing to the world around them.
At the Day Center, each sewing session becomes a small universe of creativity and pride. Here, children learn practical skills that they can use today and that will open doors for the future. But above all, they learn that talent and effort always have value.
