After the peanuts and sweet potatoes’ seeds’ distributions, now we see them growing in a pandemic and local hunger context.
ALG Technicians have been visiting every beneficiary of this initiative to confirm their correct cultivation and the different difficulties faced by the families. Among which, many families presented constraints, such as mice and young goats eating the seeds, and lack of water access.
An initiative received enthusiastically and very much welcomed by all guardians, in Mozambique most families have a “machamba” (vegetable hut) to plant some food for the family or as a family income. Let’s keep following this growth!
