This July, our brave team of Ines, Joana, Madalena and Pedro ran the JP Morgan Challenge to finance the running costs of the two ALG preschools in Gaza, Mozambique, raising an amazing £780 (with Gift Aid) in donations.
For an annual cost of £73 per child at Escolinha Flor da Infância Preschool and £90 per child at Escola Santa Catarina Preschool, ALG finances 2 meals a day, educational materials, uniforms, and the support of teachers, under the direct supervision of our Local Partners Granma Etelvina (EFI Preschool) and Sister Aparecida (ESC Preschool).
The ALG preschools relieve local poverty and promote a childhood with education for very young impoverished children.
