When “giving back” makes so much sense!

Do you remember Silvestre? The ALG Scholarship holder who finished the Teacher Course at the Teacher Training Institute in Chongoene, last year?
Do you remember that his dream was to continue studying and, one day, to create an After-Class Support Centre or help academically Nhancutse, his community? Well, he told us that he is still fighting for this dream and it seems that he is closer to realizing it 🙂
“I have a property where I already built a house in Nhancutse (photo). Next year, I would like to get a job here in Chongoene since I want to go to university and enroll in a teaching Portuguese degree”.
It’s stories like this that give us strength and the will to continue to fight and work for the benefits of these children, their families and local communities.
